Cramlington Juniors 0 - 0 Wideopen
Wideopen started the game with 9 men due to injuries. Therefore, Cramlington piled on the pressure and Andrew cleared of Wideopen's line. As the game progressed and Cramlington still didn't break Wideopen down, they became more fustrated thanks largely to a great display at the back by Andrew coping with everything that was launched into the box. Before half-time Liam turned up so Wideopen finished the half level and with 10 men. The great defending from Wideopen continued into the second-half, cramlington became more and more annoyed and started using even more long balls which played right into the hand / heads of Andrew and Dean. As the final whistle loomed, Wideopen's confidence increased and they even had a few attacks. The game finished 0 - 0, a point that no-one expected and justly earned.
North Shields 3 - 1 Wideopen
The game started slowly with neither team threatening until a corner at the near post was converted by Shields. After this, North Shields pressed but didn't create any clear-cut chances. After half-time, Wideopen started strongly and created a few half-chances and 10 minutes into the half, Tom smashed a poorly cleared corner home to level the game. After this, Wideopen were in the ascendency and 5 minutes later, after cutting in from the left, Glen smashed a 30 yard shot off the underside of the crossbar. Another attack and Dean missed a clear opportunity to take the lead by blasting over. Then the North Shields' winger cut in and scored. However, Wideopen didn't stop, Ross having a golden opportunity saved then, from the keeper's clearance, North Shields scored to make it 3 - 1 at the final whistle.

Then Ryan linked up with Jaimie who sent Dean through, Dean calmly chipped the oncoming keeper. Five minutes before the end, Dean received a straight red which boosted them and they pushed on to get a late consolation. Finished 2-1.

Ten minutes later Wallsend had a good move down the left which finished in another goal. Five minutes before half time a long throw from Jakey was cleared to the edge of the box when Jaimie capitalised and scored a half volley making it 2 - 1 at half time. The second half started even, then towards the end Whitley Bay pushed on but with no rewards. A free kick from Andrew went narrowly over. The match finished a deserved draw 1 - 1.
Wideopen 2 - 1 Alnwick
The game started with Wideopen controlling possession and creating a few half chances, then a corner was flicked down by Andrew Pearse and poked in by Dean Hindes. Wideopen finished the half in control yet didn't convert any chances. The second half began with Alnwick getting more into the game and they scored from a scrappy corner. The game continued at 1 - 1 until the last few minutes where a Wideopen long throw came into the box and Ross Dickinson blasted a shot straight into the top corner. The game finished 2 - 1.
Whitley Bay Boys Club 0 - 1 Wideopen
Wideopen bossed the early stages creating some good chances with Ross having a shot saved and Tom blasting an effort off the post. Then Jacob launched a throw into the penalty box which was met by an overhead kick from Dean Aitemen which flew straight into the top corner 1 - 0 Wideopen. For the first 5 minutes of the second half Wideopen started slowly but Whitley Bay didn't threaten. A few more half chances came Wideopen's way and a few last ditch tackles and saves meant the score stayed 1 - 0. So the game finished 1 - 0 and without the Wideopen keeper having to make a meaningful save.
Wideopen 0 - 7 Wallsend Boys Club
The first 20 minutes passed by with Wideopen putting together some neat passing moves but only creating a few half chances, Wallsend also did not threaten the target. Then a Wallsend corner came in, wasn't properly cleared, pinged off a Wallsend hand then was deflected past into the net. This goal didn't change the game with neither team getting the upper hand. Then 5 minutes before half time another Wallsend corner came in and their centre-back had a free header - 2 nil.
After the break, another 10 minutes went by with Dean Aiteman having a few half chances but yet again another Wallsend corner led to another Wallsend goal, followed by another corner and another goal. Now at 4 nil Wallsend started commanding the game but still not creating clear chances from open play. 10 minutes before the end Wallsend attacked down the left and a good cross was headed goalwards but an excellent save from Fraz prevented a goal, then another corner came in and another goal for Wallsend. Wideopen didn't stop - Ross Dickinson had a headed opportunity saved and Dean narrowly missed the top corner with an effort from outside the area. With 5 minutes to play Wallsend scored another 2 goals to give the game a scoreline which wasn't a fair reflection. The game finished 7 0.

Cramlington Town 5 - 2 Wideopen Warriors
Wideopen started the game with 10 men on a horrendously windy day yet for the first 15 minutes they didn't concede and gave as good as they got. Then a cross was well finished off by Cramlington. Within 5 minutes Wideopen were level thanks to a 25 yard free kick from Glen. This lead didn't last though as Cramlington proceeded to score again. But yet again Wideopen came back with an exquisite finish from Ross. The first half finished 2 all.
The second half began with the wind and the obvious disadvantage of 10 men began to take its toll. Wideopen also had to swap their keeper as Liam had picked up an injury. The second half started with Wideopen threatening yet Cramlington scored a soft goal. Then Cramlington scored again. After this Wideopen had some more chances yet didn't convert any.
The game finished with Cramlington scoring again. So after a great effort from Wideopen with 10 men and in terrible conditions the game finished 5 - 2 and Cramlington left with the points.

14th March 2010: Wideopen 0 - 3 Newcastle East End
The game started with Wideopen having to use their left back as a stand-in keeper, but this didn't affect them going forward. Within the first few minutes Jaimie had a free-kick cleared off the line and Dean and Ross had efforts saved. However, then East End had their first shot resulting in a goal which was no fault of Jakeys. Wideopen pressed again creating more opportunities for Dean but East End's keeper and the post kept Wideopen at bay, and before half-time with East End's second shot they found their second goal.
The second-half began with Wideopen going 4 - 4 - 2. This immediately paid off creating 2 chances for Ross which where both slightly off target, then a one-two between Tom and Graymo gave Dean a shooting opportunity which, uncharacteristically, was straight at the keeper. This was followed by an attack which resulted in a penalty after a great save from Wideopen's centre-back. This finished the game off: 3 - 0 the final score.
