12th February 2012: N.E.E Reds (7) vs. (0) Wideopen Meteors

As only 6 players turned up on a brisk but bright afternoon, we were up against it from the start playing top of the league. As a team, we stuck in and made it difficult against a full squad, who only reduced their team with 10 minutes to go when they were 7-0 up. The boys were finding it hard being 1 player down and on a heavy pitch and the addition of dog excrement to play around.

The boys had to battle extra hard, a special mention to Kyle and Mitchell for their consistent effort from start to finish – not putting their heads down. Link play from Steven, Kyle and Mitchell were excellent in the second half. James pulled off some great saves to keep the score line down.
