Wideopen Juniors has a proud history of hosting visiting teams, arranging mini-tournaments and travelling away to clubs arond the country, even the world and attending topurnaments such as Ayr, Keele and Blackpool.

The photographs on this page and connected pages give an impression of some of these events. Once again, if anyone can name teams in the photographs or has more photographs they could share with the club to add to our photographic history, we would be very keen to hear from you.

Wideopen hosted Halluin 1997/98

Wideopen has had a strong relationship with the twin-town of Halluin in France.

These photographs were taken between 1996 and 1998 when Halluin Juniors visited Wideopen and Wideopen's Under 11s visited Halluin.

Didier (right) was Halluin's deputy Mayor and their local Headteacher. He was a great supporter of Halluin's junior football team and a good friend of Wideopen Juniors.
