Monday 29th April saw the inaugural meeting of juniors referees from within Wideopen Juniors FC. The out line of the night was to give junior referees information and help to get started in refereeing. The aim was to start off a junior referees association.

The night was a great success and the referees were keen to take this forward and come back to Lockey Park and use Wideopen Juniors facilities.

The speakers at this meeting were Dennis Fulton (English Schools FA representative), Graeme Laws (Football League referee) and Dave Martin (Cramlington Referees Association secretary).
